GA Fall Testing

[GA Speed]

OK we will be having open Lidar testing on Sunday November 9th.

If you haven't been to our testing location it's near the Atlanta airport.

We have several of the newest Lidar guns available.

Please post if you can come or if you need directions I will PM them as we get closer to the testing date.

We will attempt our overpass testing again with 2 different guns this time and will have someone on the overpass to record the data.

I believe YC and BRD are trying to attend this event.

We usually start around 8-9 am and go until everyone done which usually around 2PM or so but I wont leave until everyone gets tested.

I would love to shoot your bike, I have never shot a bike with an ALP Quad before.

Forecast looks good so far, maybe a tad nippy (from a Florida perspective) with light rain expected on Mon 10th.
Booked a room nearby, should be there barring a downpour or other unforeseen circumstances.
Get your aiming hand steady for the invisibike ;)

I have a E-Z UP 12X12 canopy that we had to use once before and I can pack in the truck if there is a chance of rain.

Yes there is some legit 33.8 in use but not a lot. I usually don't go south of Macon but I know they use 33.8 as well as the Bibb County PD.

Watch for overpass shots as well south of Macon they love it down there.

Can't wait to get my ALP tested. Might not have the rear installed though. I had to beg the techs to install the front sensors and the shop is really busy. Kinda like the shoe makers kids that don't have shoes. Looking forward to it either way.

Finally made my ALP earn it's keep, the GSP Tifton area boys got shut down. I'll post up the video when I've had a chance to find the clip.

Also have some video of game playing asshole truckers including one that tried to run me off the road; those will be going to their employers.

There must have been a special on Interstate assholes today, they were thick in Floriduh.

Anyway,, thanks to GASpeed for making this happen (great test course too), and to BRD & YC for coming down. Learned quite a bit from the testing.
Good meeting all the guys that came and seeing what worked well and what needed a little tweaking.

The other factor the course. Starting at the farthest point from the shooter, the road is down hill, then the road is level then the road goes uphill as you approach the shooter. About 1/2 of the course is up uphill with the shooter at the top of the hill, about 1/6 of the course is level with the remaining 1/3 down hill.

There are a lot of rough patches on the course too. Overall it is a very good test course.

I agree... Great for testing to tweak installs for the best placement. Look at the before and after on Nicks car.

I would say that this is the toughest testing course that I have ever seen. This course exploits any weakness in your installation. I would expect some significant PTs on my own cars on this course. Next time I go to GA for a testing meet, I am driving down and testing my car.

Hey guys, I pulled my stats yesterday after being hit with laser while stopped at a dead intersection. This is my second real life hit. The reason I posted here is because all the other hits are from testing and I am still not familiar with the gun names.

Could you please help me identify which is most likely to be the laser from my encounter from I-95S near Braselton, GA vs what was targeting me yesterday in downtown Visalia, CA? I went throught the exact same intersection at 3am this morning and received no alert.

My file is significant for:

Kustom ProLaser & ProLite 4
Stalker 15
LTI Truspeed 15
Laser Ally 15
