As the title says, who is interests in a RALETC Laser Jammer Testing Meet?

Where should the testing meet be held?


I've added sign-up sheets for the Georgia and Texas meets on the RALETC site. Please have your peeps sign up so we can start getting dates planned.
You don't have to commit at this time. You can unsubscribe at anytime if you feel you can't make it. We are just trying to get a feel for participation.

^ - Yeah,we'd have a hard time w/ Customs & bringing 15 Lidars into the Lands down-under.
Well,the Southeast is pretty much covered w/ the Atlanta area guys.The Mid-West is within reasonable driving distance for a 2 or 3 day trip.

I was thinking of having one in another area of the US. I would really like to go to AUS, but the costs involved including shipping all if the LIDARS is a bit prohibitive. I wouldn't rule out going to GA. It would be nice to see some of our friends there.

Where in Texas? It is a big state. Get 10 members wanting testing, and we will make it happen.

Absolutely! Work schedules need to be checked as well as finding flights that aren't outrageously priced. If we get enough members to sign up, it probably will be scheduled for January.

Ultimate dream test location to work toward: a racetrack rental, attended and funded by many participants from the community.
Real world conditions could be simulated (driving at speed in traffic).
Something like that might generate huge interest from a wide area.
I know the logistics are difficult, I'm just dropping an idea in the suggestion box. Maybe someday :)

That would be cool. I think Car Tunes of Atanta does rent a track for there customers in GA. It would be good to also offering testing at the event.

There are a couple of tracks in Houston we might be able to rent, but the issue will be length so I'll need to look into the logistics there.

My test location in Atlanta is a nice spot. 2600ft. Also have a over pass location 1/8 mile away for over pass shooting.

We cant post on the other site due to rule changes. A regular user can post but raletc members can't advertise on the other site unless we allow sign ups there and it was a mess last time. All sign ups must be on raletc site.

Andresg didn't mean any harm in the comment. He just knows that RALETC works closely with BRD helping with the ALP and probably assumed he would be there.

But normally andresg, vendors aren't allowed to come unless it is an invitation for all competing vendors? I think I am right in saying that right YC?

I know andresg hasn't been participating here very long, but I can tell you from experience you will never meet a more genuine nice guy than he is. He just wants to meet everyone

Right I know about the help with LI. I just know that ALP obviously is able to use the help of RALETC more because of the recordings and being able to get fixes this way.

I am not sure where the break down is with LI's recording process, but it seems that they just can't quite do it without the gun.

The answer is in your post. You just need to think it out. RALETC doesn't do or provide anything more for AL than what we do for LI. If we were asked by Blinder and/or Escort for the same assistance we would provide them with the same level that we have provided AL and LI.

If you think about it, even with all the lies, false accusations and character assassinations that Cliff has made against some of the members of RALETC, it is amazing that we would put that behind us, and help LI and thus Cliff because it is more important to us to have the members of the community protected than it is for us to repay Cliff for his actions.

The saga will go on until Cliff decides that he is ready to have a person to person discussion. I have called him numerous times and he does not take my phone calls. He has my phone number and when he is ready, I will take it.
