WA Police have confirmed they are trialling a new speed monitoring device, with reports dozens of drivers were caught out on Great Eastern Highway.

The odd-looking device was reported to Radio 6PR’s Breakfast show by a caller to the Rumour File - who suggested speeding drivers on Great Eastern Highway were being stung by a “machine hidden inside a box.”

If its a trial, and its not in the WA Government Gazette, no infringements can be issued :)
