I have an ALP system with a Netradar DSP Antenna. I’ve had it a little over a month but I’ve been getting these random, intermittent error messages saying the radar antenna is disconnected. There’s no extension cable for the radar head and I’ve rechecked the connections many time and the all seem solid. Typically if I shut down the system and restart it, it’ll reboot without the error, but about 20% of the time I get it. Very rarely I’ve gotten the warning after I’ve been driving already so it’s not isolated to just at startup.
It all seems to work fine when I haven’t gotten the error, judging by the radar alerts I get.
Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? If its working I would not worry about it. We probably have to just adjust the amount of time the detector is allowed to respond. Right now we we look for a response every few seconds but with all the ALP is constantly monitoring it might not be enough time. We will look into it.

I've had this error message only once and my system seems to detect radar fine. I expect Tom's explanation is right and there's nothing to worry about.
